Gaynes Park wedding photography

I am very excited to share Camilla and Ben’s stunning Gaynes Park wedding photography with you on the blog today. We first met Camilla when she was a bridesmaid for her good friends Lauren and James at their Blake hall wedding a few years ago. Then last again last summer she was bridesmaid for a beautiful Granary Estates wedding of Beth and Adam. I couldn’t wait to see their lovely group of friends again, it was like going to see old friends and catch up. The group have been best friends since school and have the loveliest bond. In fact Camilla and Ben are childhood sweethearts from school days too. Thank you so much for asking me to capture your day. I am lucky enough to be photographing another of Camilla and Ben’s friends weddings this October and I cannot wait!
Over to Camilla to hear from her in her own words…

What was your favourite thing about your wedding?
We loved every minute of our wedding day. From morning preparations all the way to our final dance, so it is really hard to chose just one favourite moment from our Gaynes Park wedding.
As a bride I think the morning of the wedding is a really special time, being pampered with your bridesmaids is not something you get to do often. I also chose to include both my mum and my now husbands mum with us and was so pleased I did as it was lovely to enjoy that time all together.
I guess the thing we loved the most was having all our friends and family in one place. When else do you get to share such a special occasion with all your favourite people.
One of our favourite memories of the day though is the final dance of the night. We chose a song that means a lot to us, one we are often dancing around to at home! It was a moment in which the smiles took over the room. Everyone piled on to the dance floor and we were just beaming with happiness!

What did you love about our work and working with us?
We first met Julia and Michelle when I was bridesmaid at a friends wedding. Having already seen Julia’s amazing work first hand it was one of the first things we booked once we started planning our own wedding!
For our wedding, we really wanted to have a relaxed and fun day, we are not overly traditional and therefore didn’t want things to be too formal. From start to finish Julia helped us to feel relaxed. We had a couple of meetings before the wedding in which we discussed what we wanted out of our photos, Julia even joined our pinterest board and it was great to feel she had a true interest in how we wanted our photos!
On the day, we did not want too many formal family photos. We wanted to be enjoying the canape reception with the rest of the guests. Julia completely understood this and made sure everything was organised so we were not away from our guests for too long.
Favourite photographs – Gaynes Park wedding
Some of our favourite photos from the day are of just the two of us. Julia’s subtle directions really helped us to feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Those were some of the calmest moments from the day and we will treasure the photos that captured the quieter parts of our wedding.
Here are lots more from their stunning day…

We were so lucky to have an amazing group of suppliers and a very organised venue so we were also able to enjoy the run up and the planning. I am quite creative so I loved all the planning and stationary designing.
Our venue, Gaynes Park fit with our wedding theme perfectly, we wanted it to be understated and timeless and the beauty of Gaynes park helped make that a reality. Galloping gourmet who are the events planners and caterers at our Gaynes Park wedding were accommodating throughout our planning process. Even managing to source the mini gold prosecco bottles we wanted for our canape reception!
