Sadly I can’t possibly include everything… but here are just a tiny selection of some of my favourite wedding shots, after all 2011 is nearly at an end! 2012 is going to be even better with so many creative and fun couples whose weddings we’ll be joining this year!
My favourite guest of the year award goes to William, he decided the floor was the best place to be for his mum and dad’s wedding, but he makes the cutest mini best man!
William’s mum and dad, Danielle and James had a wonderful wedding day at Friern Manor, Essex!
Elizabeth’s parents home had lots of beautiful vintage touches a perfect setting for her getting ready shots and beautiful wedding shoes! I must admit when I spied her vintage suitcases above her wardrobe I wanted to steal them for our “juliaandmia” baby photo shoots
Elizabeth and Stephen tying the knot, then sealing it with a kiss at their Chiselhurst Gold Club, Kent wedding
A bit further afield Kirsty and Stephen were married in a treehouse, in Bonny Scotland – Loch Goil! This wedding was featured on Rock my wedding blog!
The views across the Loch from The Lodge were breathtaking
Another wedding where we travelled a few miles was Melanie and Charlie’s in Wales… The sun was shining which made for stunning shots through the stainglass in church catching them as they walked down the aisle and Mel enjoy the sunshine outside by the harbour.
Melanie’s button bouquets win my award from my favourite bouquet. The bride (and arts and crafts teacher) made all her own details from bunting to table clothes and of course these beautiful button bouquets! The wedding was also featured on Whimsical wonderland weddings and even made it into her top weddings of 2011!
A close second favourite bouquet would be Samantha’s. When I met Samantha and Justin, by complete coincidence it turned out she had seen our very own wedding in a magazine and used it for inspiration for her own wedding flowers, which was so flattering and naturally I loved all her flowers!
The beautiful bridesmaids took a walk in the sun with my parasols (which I take to all my summer weddings!). Blake Hall in Essex makes a beautiful setting. I particularly love the swing in the gardens!
Sam wasn’t sure how to decorate her cake table as she felt the cake would look a little lost. I suggested she borrowed old pictures frames and had pictures of their parents and grandparents on their wedding days. So we took the opportunity to get Sam to hold the cherished wedding photograph of her parents, definitely something to show her own grandchildren one day. Their wedding is due to be featured on Rock my wedding blog soon!
Zoe and Tom’s wedding definitely is one of the most unique weddings I have ever photographed. First of all the invitations weren’t for a wedding but for Kiddfest – their very own wedding festival.
Zoe made really cute paper hearts and hung them on trees throughout the garden.
Guests had lots of stripey deckchairs and hay bundles to sit on!
Tom is definitely the only master of ceremonies I’ve ever seen with a peg on his hat!
Like any good festival they danced the night away… to see more of this wedding and some of the others here go to the main flash website and select weddings. Or you could head over to the amazing love my dress blog… who featured this wedding last month! click here
I look forward to sharing more wonderful moments with lots more brides and grooms for 2012! If you are planning your own wedding get in touch, Id love to chat to you about your own plans!
Julia – I really love these shots – I especially love the tree house and the tent shots the best – nice work and great compositions! xx
