Hey! It’s always great to brag about a fantastic magazine featuring our work (ok Ian gets featured LOTS, almost everyday in newspapers and magazines) but I get VERY excited every time someone features one of my weddings gets featured. I mean REALLY excited. Everyone is special to me, so seeing someone else feel its as special is great!

Mel and Charlie’s wedding was VERY special… DIY details galore, all crafted by the bride. I blogged the wedding a while ago, on my old blog but seeing as its been featured in Perfect Wedding I think it’s worth sharing again…

And onto the wedding and all the great ideas to steal!

The guests were all asked to wear gloves and they all dressed to impress. Not surprising when one of the brides best friends owns "Fur Coat, No Knickers"

      Hunter wellies the ultimate accessory
The light in west Wales is stunning
The bride made all the bouquets, they were so cute
The detail in her bouquet was amazing! Best bouquet Ive ever shot!
      How happy does she look??
Being such a close knit community their friends house was even decorated with bunting
Driftwood boats with named sails, a table for hats, the bride DIYed the lot with such an amazing style
They tasted even better than they looked
Every table had a different brightly patterned tablecloth, so it was easy for guests to find their way!
The speeches included a singalong surprise where guests throughout the room were in on and jumped up from their seats to serenade the couple. It was hilarious!

Mel and Charlie knew how to get wed in style! (and all on a budget!)
