Nicola and Simon’s Baddow Park wedding in Essex was a photographers dream. This stunning country house estate provided the perfect backdrop for their incredible celebration.
The couple exchanged vows in a breathtaking outdoor ceremony amidst the picturesque grounds of Baddow Park. The ceremony was beautifully accompanied by the enchanting melodies of Halostrings, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere. Nicola looked absolutely radiant in her stunning Maggie Sottero gown, complemented by a pair of exquisite Manolo Blahnik shoes. Her flawless hair and makeup were expertly created by Sarah Wade and Jaimie Attfield, respectively, enhancing her natural beauty. The reception was held in the light and airy orangery, where guests were treated to a stunning decor (and amazing food of course). The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the electrifying performance by The London Function Band. Their amazing energy kept the dance floor packed throughout the meal and well into the night. As the sun began to set, the couple were gifted with the perfect golden hour n the fields at the back of Baddow Park. The soft light cast a magical glow, creating some truly breathtaking images.
Over to Nicola and Simon to talk about their day
1. What were your favourite moments from your wedding?
Simon – I think it was seeing Nicola at the end of the aisle when I turned around, looking absolutely stunning, especially after not seeing her for over a day! Nicola – I loved our wedding breakfast entrance together, the band were brilliant and it was just so nice seeing everyone’s smiling faces as we were officially husband and wife.
2. What did you love about working with me and or what did you love about your photos?
You made us both feel so relaxed during the lead up and on the day and you made sure to capture all the right shots at the right time, especially managing golden hour. Every photo is perfect and there are so many to choose from, from getting ready until the dancing. The photos of our guests are amazing too and so special for us to be able to see bits we missed on the day.
3. What tip would you give future couples?
Everyone tells you the day goes so quickly but the day really does go so quickly. Enjoy every little moment and trust your suppliers to make the magic happen.
