Hatfield Place wedding photography
I loved capturing Lauren and Thomas’s Hatfield Place wedding photography. I had met Lauren at her friends wedding the year before, she came up to me and said that she had followed my work for a while and loved it, and she was recently engaged and hoped I would be free for their wedding at Hatfield Place.
I was over the moon that I was. I was lucky enough to photograph their engagement shoot (see the first couple of photos below) too, and whilst they told me they felt nervous in front of the camera and weren’t photogenic, after that shoot I strongly disagreed! Their wedding had a real wow factor, of course they are both gorgeous even if they don’t realise it.
The stunning styling from Little Tin Shed, the beautiful interiors at Hatfield Place and a wedding filled with emotion. There was always going to be tears as Lauren walked down the aisle with her dad to Thomas, accompanied by the incredibly talented Zoe Alexander on piano. Then the party started and it really didn’t disappoint. Thank you so much for asking us to photograph it. We loved every minute, and I have loved getting to know you both
This wedding is actually being featured in The Times this weekend, (3rd February) make sure you get a copy to read more about their story
Firstly what was your favourite part or parts of the day?
It’s so hard to pick our favourite part of the wedding, as it was our perfect day from start to finish – it was so much more than we could’ve ever dreamed of. We look back on our photos and cannot believe that it’s us and that was our day!! We would say the best part was celebrating with our closest friends and family, we felt so much love and will treasure the memories we made forever.
Secondly what did you love about working with me?
We absolutely love Julia! We first met Julia at a friends wedding and knew straight away we wanted to book her for our day. From the first meeting Julia went above and beyond, not only with making us feel comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement shoot but also with helping us organise the timings for the whole day, which helped us so much during the overwhelming planning stages. Julia and Michelle were the perfect team, they helped ensure the day went so smoothly and kept us both so calm through all the nerves – we are so grateful to them both. I would recommend Julia to all my friends and family!
