As restrictions came to an end last year I had the pleasure of photographing Gemma and Aaron’s Leez Priory Wedding. I have been asking all my couples last year to look back at their weddings, a little review of us photographing their wedding and to remember their favourite moments for my blog…
“One of the best wedding decisions we made, was picking Julia to photograph our day! Julia and Michelle felt like far more than just our photographers on the day, nothing was too much trouble for either of them, they were involved in helping us girls and the boys get organised on morning, they delivered presents, liaised with the venue staff, bought me Prosecco and taught Aaron how to wear his buttonhole.
Throughout the day they were a pleasure to spend time with and they both made us feel really at ease and relaxed in front of the camera. Myself and my partner hate being centre of attention but I really enjoyed all our couple photoshoots throughout the day, it was fun, easy and I felt like I was spending time with my new husband rather than posing for photographs.
Julia sent us photos within a few days of the wedding and we received our full gallery soon after. I have looked at the photos countless times and I just love every single one.

“It’s so difficult to pick a favourite memory from our wedding, but I think I would have to say the ceremony. I was dreading the ceremony beforehand, we were both so nervous about it but when the time came I was so excited to become Mrs Baker I wasn’t nervous at all! Walking up to Aaron and seeing him so emotional was so special, he’s not normally the soppy type so it really meant the world to me.
Then it would have to be the party! As our wedding was a few days after restrictions lifted on weddings and we had a beautiful sunny day it was amazing to see all my friends and family dancing to the band outside. It was the first party for us and our guests in over a year and it was by far the best party of our lives!”
