Charlotte and Luke’s Gaynes Park wedding
Back in June 2021 we were all prepared for everything to reopen with weddings, but at the last minute everything went on a bit of a hold, but it didn’t stop Charlotte and Luke’s Gaynes Park wedding. There were small restrictions (no dancefloor which was sad) but the day itself was full of sunshine and smiles.
Over to Charlotte and Luke, what was your favourite memory of the day…
“Our favourite memory from our wedding were the couple shots straight after the ceremony and after the wedding breakfast. It was so lovely to step back and observe that it was our wedding day! I was quite anxious about the couple photos as I’m not always comfortable in front of the camera but Julia completely put us at ease. The day goes by so quickly and you want to speak to all of your guests but I was grateful for the time where it was just me and Luke as we were able to actually spend some time together!”

I could not recommend Julia enough. She totally understood our brief and we felt completely safe in her hands. Julia has a way of putting you completely at ease and you forget the camera is there! Planning a wedding during covid was an incredibly anxious and stressful time but she checked in on us regularly and was always on hand to have a quick call to run through any questions and offer advice. We received a highlights album a few days after the wedding which was amazing to share with our family and friends whilst you are still in your wedding bubble. A few weeks later we received the full album and we were completely blown away. They are so precious to us and I am forever grateful to Julia for capturing our day so beautifully.
