Hedsor House Wedding Photography

Today I’m shining the light on one of my favourite wedding venues of mine: Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire. I’ve been lucky to photograph weddings here a few times, and I just love coming here again and again.

Beautifully elegant and located just outside London (45 minutes by train), I just adore Hedsor House. Named by Vogue, Marie Clare, Tatler as their number one wedding venue, it is easy to see why. This Georgian mansion is truly stunning as an exclusive use wedding venue in Buckinghamshire. As soon as you see the house, it’s impossible not to fall in love as you are essentially guaranteed a glamorous wedding.

The house is steeped in history with a very royal past. Originally designed by the architect of Somerset House, with the help of King George III and Queen Charlotte with many royal visitors over its 800 year history. Not only that, but the venue is regularly used for A-list movies, TV shows and events!

The house is set in 100 acres of gorgeous private parkland which means it’s a complete escape from city life. The venue makes for a beautiful backdrop for your wedding portraits.

The weddings I have loved photographing here are filled with laughter and amazing family and friends….

Due to the venue being a blank canvas, you can truly create the day of your dreams, just like this beautiful Hedsor House wedding with Gemma and Andrew, which had a timeless and understated blush and gold scheme.

You have the choice of civil ceremony up to 60 guests in the house or a church ceremony or blessing in the nearby 12th century St. Nicholas’ Church next to the house.

As a photographer, the opportunities to take photos of you together with your families and friends in the beautiful natural light of the house are limitless. Just take a look at these sunset wedding portraits I captured at Hedsor House.

Just look at the stunning Bridal Suite, it is possibly my favourite bridal suite for getting ready. The rooms are large and beautifully light and airy, perfect for your bride tribe. Expect to feel truly special if you get married here!

If you’re not sure what to expect when arranging a wedding photographer, do read through this blog post where I share all about booking luxury wedding photography for your big day.

Here’s what Kirsty one of my happy brides had to say: We loved having our friends and family all together. At one point we walked along the grounds of Hedsor House and looked back towards our guests. At that point, we both felt extremely proud and overwhelmed that everyone wanted to see us get married.

The morning of the wedding I would have been lost without Julia. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was where they were meant to be in time for some morning photos. Both Julia and Michelle made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Jack and I worried we’d feel self-conscious and awkward for the photos, but we felt at such ease we actually really enjoyed it! The photos have exceeded our expectations, and we are thrilled we chose Julia & You to capture our big day.
