Sheila and Vinoy’s grand indian wedding in Mauritius
Yesterday I featured the first day of Sheila and Vinoy’s stunning destination wedding photography for their white wedding on the secluded beaches of Paradis Beachcomber in Mauritius. Two days later, with a day for us all to enjoy the Mauritian weather inbetween, Louise Perry weddings had planned them a grand indian wedding, on the beach at Sugar Beach in Flic and Flic
The day
The day itself started at lunchtime with a private saffron ceremony for Sheila and her relatives and some of her closest friends. A time to cleanse and take in the beauty of this Hindu ceremony. It was a real honour to watch
After which it was a not so quick change into Sheilas indian wedding dress and Vinoys, grand outfit that made him look like a prince, the entrance to their ceremony was spectacular, drummers announcing Vinoys arrival and Sheila arriving down the grand staircase from Sugar Beach, it was an event in itself.
The ceremony is unbelievably beautiful, with flowers and rings, and gifts exchanged over the fire pit as the sun started to come down. We headed start to the beach for couple portraits as soon as the ceremony finished for golden hour followed by a magical fairy lit reception in the gardens
The venue
Sugar Beach is a popular luxury resort in Flic and Flac, surrounded by beautiful beaches, grand buildings and garden it was the perfect setting
The Planners
As I shared Sheila and Vinoy’s word about us yesterday today I wanted to share my own words about the extraordinary planners at Louise Perry weddings. Louise and Natalie planned this stunning wedding from London and coordinated the most magical of days, if you are planning a destination wedding they truly are the best. We feel so unbelievably grateful they put us forward for this beautiful wedding, we are very lucky to be living the dream!
