Sarah & Ryan said ‘I do’ at Farbridge, a beautiful barn wedding venue, in Sussex. I know I shouldn’t have favourites, but I LOVED this wedding!
I adore coral and rose gold, and Sarah did it so well! Everything about the wedding was just beautiful, and Sarah & Ryan are such a wonderful couple to be around. We really did feel privileged to be a part of their wedding day.
The venue
We love a barn wedding – the rustic venue and the inevitably beautiful surroundings make the perfect backdrop for our fine art photography style.
Farbridge is a particularly wonderful venue because all of it – every single bit – is yours for the day. As well as the ceremony room, there are seven bedrooms (each with an en-suite, in case you were wondering!) – plus the amazing surroundings; Farbridge is nestled in the rolling downlands of the South Downs National Park. Simply stunning!
The grounds include a secret garden, a sun-lit courtyard, one smaller barn, and one larger barn, where Sarah & Ryan’s guests were for drinks and their sit-down meal. This incredible setting, along with Sarah’s attention to detail, made for a breath-taking wedding.
The couple
Sarah & Ryan were SO much fun, they made me smile all day long! Their love just shone through, all day long, and they really were a joy to be around and to photograph.
I actually worked with Sarah’s sister and dad many years ago, so I was over the moon when her sister recommended me. It turns out Sarah’s bridesmaid, Gemma, works with my husband and she also recommended me – Sarah tells me that, after two recommendations, she felt it was meant to be and got in touch.
The wedding couldn’t have been more perfect for our style, so I am so, so glad that she did!
