Last weekend Michelle and I headed down to London for another beautiful wedding, the Kings Road was our first stop – “Gin’s and Jez’s” (the names they prefer to be called) stunning flat where all the girls were having fun and bubbles getting ready. It definitely set the scene for a pretty and elegant day styled by fantastic wedding planner Laura Munday.
I first met planner Laura at her own wedding 4 years ago, and 2 years ago we worked together with a family friend of Virginia’s – the lovely Katy & Philip – so it was lovely getting together again, and lovely to see Katy’s lovely parents too, it felt like a lovely reunion. I knew with Laura’s eye for detail it would be very pretty and it didn’t disappoint. The venue with their LOVE of golf, and its closeness to their church and home as well as the lovely grounds – Richmond Golf club was an obvious choice.
The real theme of the day was fun, I loved their expressions as they pulled away from the church in the sports car, they wanted fun formals – which I find only works when its true to your personality and it definitely was everything they were about. Even their first dance, being so laid back they asked the band to pick a song for them, and they did them proud. Thank you for having us capture your day…
