This weekend Ian and I headed off to my last wedding of 2014, and it was something pretty lovely to finish off our wedding year with! I was very lucky to photograph two of Laura’s school friends weddings last year, so it was lovely when she got in touch to tell me about her plans. They were so excited about their St Alban’s Cathedral wedding (just look at how happy Laura was after their exchanged their rings!).
They set the style immediately with stunning candles decorating the room where they were getting ready (they may not have been able to have peonies in the bouquet but we all loved their peony candles in their rooms). But of course their gorgeous reception was candlelight, as well as being beautifully decorated by the talented florist Lily and May, we even had beautiful personalised candles for us (as well as the rest of the guests) which now are decorating our own table.
It was a day filled with love, family and friends, many who had travelled a very long way just to be with them (flowergirl Emma, her mummy and Laura’s brother all travelled for very short trips all the way from Australia to be with them both). We absolutely loved every minute, thanks for sharing it with us too.
