I love it when a wedding is personal, and unique to the bride and groom. Whether it is a special church or celebrant, or adorable DIY details, it’s just lovely to see the love poured into the day to make it about the two of them. If you are lucky enough to have a family home with beautiful grounds, like Kate’s family, then it was obvious it would be first choice of venue. It is really was beautiful, and so poignant to the family. It meant so many childhood memories could be part of the day, sadly Kate’s dad had passed away when her and her three siblings were young, it felt like he could be with them through those memories too. Both Kate’s and Matthew’s family were so welcoming and it really was lovely to for Michelle and I to share their day.
