When I was a student, I fell in love with the Barbican, to me it always hosted the best photography exhibitions and just had this cool atmosphere. So when Gillian and Damon got in touch about their Barbican wedding I was pretty excited. Gillian’s parents get to enjoy it every day (and the amazing views) as they have an amazing apartment there with the best possible taste (any creative would be envious!). In fact it was a day of envy, as I also fell in love with Gillian’s dress, like all brides she looked breath taking, but t was definitely a dress I’d have picked myself.
Of course her husband Damon is an equally epic dresser, they couldn’t be more perfect together. As it happens Damon worked with my husband Ian for several years, which always makes it a little more special when you know the bride and groom. But we haven’t seen them much in recent years as they both live in Pakistan now, so the big day was beautifully coordinated by their families. And they couldnt have done a better job. Thanks so much for having us be part of your day…
