It’s safe to say I have been busy, over the last three months (by the end of Saturday) I will have photographed 16 weddings! We have another half dozen before Christmas too, but as we head into October it’s going to be much quieter.
What it has meant, is I have shared lots of sneek peeks but no bigger wedding blogs for a while. For me it’s really important that all my brides and grooms get to see a sneek peek as soon as possible (with in a few days) and their edited wedding photographs as soon as I can get them to them. I normally say around 6 weeks – but aim to get them in less than a month, and despite being so busy I’ve managed to get them all out in less than a month (with the help of my amazing editor Larissa). But blogging more has to take a back step… but I promise to share a few of them over the next few weeks, so you get to see some more of the wonderful weddings we’ve got to celebrate with.
First up is just a small selection of all the fun Hannah and I had at Stephanie and Darren’s August do, at the Old Kent Barn in Kent. Its a special one for me as many years ago I worked with Stephanie, so when she got engaged and said she had to have me photograph her wedding, I was very excited. It was lovely sharing in all the emotion and there were a few tears but LOTS of laughs on the day. The rain came down for a short while but Stephanie insisted she was getting married outside, and you know what the sun ended up coming out. It was perfect.
