Last month I photographed the most weddings I have ever photographed in one month, in nine years of doing this. I was lucky to share SEVEN couples big days and on Saturday – the very last day of the month I got to share Jessica and Daniel’s beautiful wedding day, assisted by the wonderful Hannah.
And it DID NOT DISAPPOINT
I knew it was likely to be lovely as Florence Finds blogger, Rebecca was maid of honour, but as always all of Jess and Dan’s family and friends added the sparkle to their cool details and ideas. One detail that was missing was two HUGE peach balloons which we were very excited to use with group and couple photographs, but sadly on returning from the church they had burst. As all brides know there is always a small hitch and everything else was perfect so it wasn’t going to put a dampner on their day, we had lots of peaches to eat after all.
Turns out there was another small hitch to come, anonymous smoker flicked their butt into the farm next door (literally a couple of metres from the marquee) and set fire to a big tree. But as it turns out Jessica and her friends quite like a fireman so that really didn’t count as a hitch, just extra guests and lots of laughs during the speeches.
You all made the end of a FUN month more memorable than I could ever imagine! Here area few of the shots we took amongst the excitement…
This is a little update, as I realise I made a mistake, I teased readers with the promise of firemen but gave no photographic evidence, so here it is: Enjoy!
Gorgeous Julia!
It was fab having you there on the day and you have taken some beautiful shots. Thank you so much!
Wish we could do it all again now!
