This weekend Ian and I headed over to St Michael’s Manor in St Albans for Emily and Garys wedding! It was a wedding of lots of coincidences. They were of course planning their wedding in St Albans, where I lived and spent many years in – not so long ago. But when we first chatted on the phone we realised that I went to the same school as Gary! Then later after their engagement appeared on my blog, one of my other brides emailed me as Miranda (who got married just one week before) went to school with Emily! But to make it a little bit more special, it was actually my birthday! I love my job, so I thought shooting a wedding on my birthday would be lovely (most people work on their birthdays after all!). But I was so touched as Emily and Gary got me a cake during the speeches and it turned out I shared a birthday with two other guests. Lets just say it was a lovely day, congratulations again to the two of you… Here’s an extended sneek peek:
