Yesterday, Emily and Gary were the first of my winter engagement shoots, Ive got quite a few coming up, so there will be lots more to share! Beforehand we headed over to St Michaels Manor in St Albans where their wedding reception will be in July next year, its a stunning venue, and just a short distance from my old haunts in Harpenden and St Albans. Then we drove over to the new Woodland Trust Forest – Heartlands by Sandridge, which really is a perfect backdrop and plenty of shelter from the wind and rain too! The weather was a bit drizzly but actually the light was very pretty and misty and they both happily braved the elements for their shoot with lots of smiles.
