At the beginning of March I headed across to Surrey to what may become one of my favourite venues… Nonsuch Mansion. It’s full of light and has the loveliest people who run the place! We arrived in the morning to Jon and Vicky happily putting the last touches together with their wonderful planner Josie (of Savoir weddings). They got rid of old traditions and stayed together the night before and then spent the morning doing the last minute run throughs together. From the time Ive spent with them it summed them both up beautifully, relaxed perfect partnership.
Vicky then headed up to Nonsuch’s dressing room, which is a photographers dream (think huge windows and quirky wallpapered bathroom) with the very talented Jo Clayton got her hair and makeup done, along with her lovely sister who was bridesmaid and of course three beautiful flowergirls had their hair coiffed too. Now before we start the photographs here is a little warning: I loved so many that I have included a lot… and it’s over two parts!
Vicky was ready beautifully early so we had lots of time to appreciate the surroundings and get these beautiful relaxed formals. But soon enough it was time to walk down Nonsuch Mansion’s beautiful staircase. The little ones wait patiently whilst Vicky chatted to the registrar before she made her grand entrance…
Last glimpse before Vicky went to join Jon and become Mrs! Jon waited eagerly at the front, by the time Vicky arrived down the aisle he was beaming with joy. Last night when I showed them their full slideshow it was so lovely seeing hem both with huge smiles again as they relived it all!
There are lots more photographs to come tomorrow… from this beautiful wedding. Until then I hope you liked this little insight! Last but by no means least a huge thank you to my lovely second shooter Funmi, she kept me smiling all day and was a great help and wonderful second shooter.
