Gosfield Hall – where to have your photos
Gosfield Hall – where to have your photos on your wedding day. After all there is so much choice and you can pick all the locations but its always good to have a plan for whatever the weather is doing. The amazing thing with Gosfield Hall is the interior is as photogenic as the exterior, after all it was a Royal Palace.
Rococo Bridal Suite
Decorated during the residency of King Louis XVIII, the Rococo Bridal Suite has that real wow factor. Perfect for when you are doing the finishing touches of getting ready but you can also had up there for photographs as a couple too.
Grand Salon
The Grand Salon might be the location for your ceremony but its also the perfect place for the groomsmen photographs in the morning or couple portraits later on.
The Royal Ballroom
Whilst the ballroom will be set up for your wedding breakfast its such a beautiful spot when my couples go to see the room all set up we often capture some portraits of the two of you in the room.
The Courtyard
With the grand blue doors if youre having an inside ceremony lots of couples will opt for this backdrop for their confetti, but you can do a large group shot with all of your guests from one of the windows down to the Courtyard. And of course have your formal group shots against the gates, but its also a really great place for photographs of the two of you.
Side of the house
The grand green doorway and stunning building is a really popular spot at Gosfield Hall – where to have your photos. I love couple shots, but you could even have group shots too (if the sunshine is not too bright!).
In the front gardens
In front of the car park and often overlooked spot is where the stunning hydrangeas are, they are so pretty is the right light and make a stunning backdrop.
With the back of the house
Whilst the front is usually full of cars, and the back is usually full of your guests having drinks, once they have headed into dinner the back of the house is so beautiful for photos of the two of you. Or if you opted for drinks in the courtyard you can even do group shots there too.
By the iconic deer
The deer statues are iconic, if you love them too we will make sure they feature in a photo or two with you.
In the fields
I often do photographs after dinner, in that quiet bit before your dancing. My couples love to have a walk just a short way in the fields, time to chat as well as create beautiful wedding photographs.
Golden hour and sunset
Where is sunset at Gosfield Hall – where to have your photos at that time? It usually falls behind the courtyard and across those fields, we cannot change the time of sunset but Golden hour is an hour before sunset (and sunset is usually too late) so when we do our timing chat I will chat about when we can sneek out for 10 mins! And sometimes we dont get golden hour but if we dont we will create something magic with flash light and the evening light!
