Wedding photography locations at Braxted Park
I love photographing weddings at Braxted Park, there are so many stunning Wedding photography locations at Braxted Park. For your couple photographs to your groups photos to the best place for golden hour and sunset. Whilst the sun can sometimes affect the best time and place for your photographs (In bright sunshine the gates to the walled garden can sometimes be too bright for photographs, but we can head there later on in the day) Where will you pick for your groups and couple photographs.
The driveway with a wow factor and in front of the Lake
The first thing that strikes most people is the stunning long driveway as you head up towards the House. I love heading over to the driveway either just before dinner or just before golden hour. Or if you are getting married at Braxted Parks church you can stop on the driveway before you head back to the house. Whenever you pick the driveway and lake alongside it make the perfect Wedding photography locations at Braxted Park.
At the front of Braxted Park House
The house is so beautiful, it has that real wow factor when you come down the driveway. So understandably it is always one of the favourite Wedding photography locations at Braxted Park. And if you want a everyone group shot I often do this out of a window and so all your guests are there with the driveway behind them before we head over to the confetti aisle alongside the Walled Garden.
The Gates to the Walled Garden
If the sun is not too high or too bright, I adore the gates for some of your key group shots, you can have big groups in front of the grand iron wrought gates. If the sun is high then we can definitely head back as it falls for couple shots in front of the gates.
Walled Garden
The Walled garden is the most popular spot for group shots, with lots of side gardens, guests can come join the photos and quickly jon back with the drinks. We can get couple and family shots in lots of little spots and under the rose archway. But of course the gardens are also the perfect place for couple photographs, during the reception and when the golden light hits.
The steps at the back of Confetti
If you want different locations for photographs the steps can make a pretty location for smaller groups or the two of you
The garden at the back of the house
The gardens at the back of the house are also perfect for group shots especially if you are holding your drinks outside your orangery ceremony or inside the house itself.
Golden hour and sunset
The back and side of the house is the best place for sunset, it streams across the horizon, and whether the fields are full you get such a different back drop for your evening photos. Its my favourite time, everyone is relaxed and I love creating photos at that time. Golden hour is the hour before Sunset. Sunset itself is often too late for those golden photos but you can get a pretty horizon. I cant move when that hour is but we wont be out for an hour only 10/15 mins so we will pick the best time during that hour that suits your schedule! I always chat through golden hour times during my timing chat with my couples around 2-3 months before your wedding.
