Earlier this month I headed up to a venue I havent visited in a long time, the gorgeous Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire with Catherine to photograph Carley and Joe’s wedding. From pretty much the very first email Carley got me excited about her wedding, she and Joe had lots of great plans to bring their crafty family together – Joe’s mum runs a gorgeous craft and prop making business so they knew they were in safe hands. In fact every last detail at their wedding either Carley or Joe or one of their close relatives made themselves. Including Splat the Rat and their buzzer game which was made by Joe’s dad as a surprise! Their guests were never going to be bored with all the games in the garden (thankfully it only rained for a very tiny part of the day so everyone got to enjoy them!)

In fact every last detail was thought about, but actually what shone threw the most was what a great couple they are, its clear they adore each other and spending hours making everything was a team effort and just brought them even closer together, and closer to their wonderful family and friends. When the rain passed, the sun shined (a lot) which is always good for beautiful ethereal shots in the evening. Thank you so much for having me photograph your special day, we had a blast!
