Becky and Tom are getting married TODAY! When this post goes live I will be busy photographing the details and Becky getting ready to marry the man of her dream, Mr Tom Chaplin. All of my brides are special, but Becky is a little more so, as she is one of my best friends. We met at University in Nottingham and lived together for several years after when we both moved down to London. And today I am very excited to be sharing her big day with her and capturing it all forever.

Becky is an art director and illustrator (so very creative and her wedding is set to be full of details) and loves 50’s clothes – in fact all sorts of vintage clothes – her hen do was 20’s themed with afternoon tea and charleston dancing.

So when we chatted about what we could do and I suggested we went to Southend. Becky screwed her face up and said -“Southend, really??” I said yes, trust me, so she did! We started off in the very cute fifties diner Bobby Jo’s who happily let us snap away, although it was very busy (not surprising the food is great), so Tom wasn’t so keen on that idea. But we soon headed down the promenade to find the iconic beach huts and throw stones in the sea. All in all we had a fun day and I’m hoping Tom has forgiven me for making him pose in front of lots of strangers! wedding photography essexstyled engagement photographySouthend wedding photographystyled engagement photographylondon engagement photographyessex wedding photographyengagement photography essexessex engagement photographywedding photography essexessex wedding photographyessex engagement photographysouthend engagement photography If you fancy your own styled engagement shoot in Southend, Essex, London or wherever else you fancy get in touch!
